I love Make-up, in fact I wear it everyday, primer, concealer, powder, bronzer I LOVE it all. After talking to a few bridal make up artist I noticed a trend. The effortless natural bride, the woman who looks like she is barely wearing anything but her veil and love for her groom. Definitley not MY style. I'm dramatic so for the big day i'm trending towards a glamorous smokey eye, long lashes and a sexy lip.
My trial is next week so i'm excited to see what she creates for me.

This Photo is my inspiration!

I found a great Groupon for a photo booth and we are super excited about having it for our event! I wanted to have a sign letting guests know where it was located. So far this is what I came up with. Not sure if I love it....

I love finding deals...so for our candy bar we decided not to purchase in bulk...besdies most people don't like colored candy, which is why there is usually so much candy left behind. I wanted to have the normal favorites like snickets, kit kats, reeses etc. So I purchased sale Easter Candy!

This is what we ended up with! 25 bags of candy for under 30 dollars. I'm so proud of my finds!

I'm typically not very crafty, but since i've been planning i've tried to save money in tons of ways. Here are some useful links i've found throughout the process.

OMG we have less than 2 months to go! Today I had my first fitting and it went so well.
While I initially was extremely excited, I also had a lot of anxiety but once I got there the seamstress calmed me down. She was so knowledgeable, sweet and reasonably priced compared to the bridal salon. I purchased my dress as a size 16 so it is pretty roomy, she has to take it in, add some boning, hem it, and do the bustle. Overall it turned out to be pretty good experience.
I go back in about 3 weeks to retry it on and I can't wait!

The only negative is after standing up there for about 45 minutes my feet were KILLING me....so now i'm on the hunt for flats. I give up trying to be cute for the wedding lol....My feet are just not cooperating. Besides no one is going to be able to see my shoes.

Pic of my dress in the trunk all packed up and ready to go..

We have 68 days to go! And things are moving along pretty well. This week I ordered our cake topper, programs, finished shopping for the honeymoon and ordered some of the BM/GM gifts. I have my first alteration appointment in two weeks. Time is speeding by....and my living room looks like this. Looking forward to all the junk being gone!

While on the hunt for my perfect wedding updo, I found there was a lack of resources and pictures for AA brides. These are a few of my favorites. HTH!

My Bridal Shower was Fantabulous! Here are some pics!

We are now in the double digit club! We have less than 90 days to go and each day brings more and more excitement for us. In these past weeks we've gotten so much accomplished. We finished our marriage counseling and nailed down the details of our ceremony. We ordered linens for the reception and finalized some important reception details. I finalized my wedding day look and we are currently working on music for the big day. So far we have gotten back 22 RSVP's all Yes. Overall things are moving along pretty smoothly. Looking forward to the upcoming 3 months ahead.

There are officially 99 days until I marry my baby.... and on top of that I received my first RSVP back last night.....OMG time is flying by!
